32. Handle a Disagreement on Date Three
Date three, and you've hit your first real disagreement — not movie tastes, something with actual stakes (money, family, how people should treat waiters... okay, that last one's a dealbreaker screen, not a disagreement). Navigate it without folding your actual opinion and without turning the date into a debate tournament.

Constraints
- You must state your actual position. Chameleoning is a correctness bug with delayed detonation.
- Attack ideas, never the person holding them.
- Curiosity is mandatory: at least one genuine question about their view.
- Winning is not the objective. If someone 'wins' the disagreement, you both lost the date.
Hints
- A first disagreement is a demo of what conflict with you feels like. That demo matters more than the topic.
- 'Make the case' reframes disagreement as a game you're playing together, not a fight you're having at each other.
- You can hold your position and be delighted by theirs at the same time. That combination — spine plus warmth — is rare and extremely attractive.
